Is registration payable?

No, registration on dalbasket.com is absolutely free.

Do I have to register necessarily to shop on dalbasket?

Surfing and adding products can be done without registration, but if one wants to shop, then it is only possible for registered shoppers to checkout and place orders. Registered members are supposed to log in when they proceed with checkout the cart. They are prompted to do so as they are not logged in at that time.

How payment is made on dalbasket purchase?

Dalbasket offers you different modes of payment. Note: You may need to pay extra for the delivery charges, if your purchase of pulses is less than 300 rupees. And, it may cost extra, if you use 2 hour service (fast delivery).

For What Cash on Delivery stand?

You may not be comfortable to make online payment on dalbaket.com. In such case, you can go for the Cash on Delivery (C-o-D) payment method. With Cash on Delivery, you can make payment in cash when the actual delivery comes at your doorstep.

The maximum order value that you can choose for Cash on Delivery (C-o-D) payment, is Rs. 50, 000. For this mode of payment, one cannot use foreign currency, to make C-o-D payment, merely Indian Rupees are accepted.

How can I make payment, using debit/credit card?

We accept payments made via credit/debit cards that have been issued in India & 21 other countries.

Credit cards

We acknowledge payments that are done with American Express, Visa and MasterCard credit cards. At the time of paying through your credit card at checkout, you require to fill your card number, three-digit CVV number & expiry date. Once you have entered these details, you are redirected to the page of bank in order to enter 3D protected password.

Debit cards

We undertake payments that are done via Maestro, MasterCard and Visa debit cards. At the time of making payment via your debit card, you need your card number, its expiry date (it is optional for the Maestro Cards) & three-digit CVV number which is optional for the Maestro cards. Now, you are redirected on the secure page of your bank in order to enter your online password, which has been issued by the bank for the purpose of payment completion.

Is it possible for me to make payment using my debit/credit card or through Internet banking on dalbasket through my mobile phone?

Yes, you are welcome to pay using your mobile phone with the help of our dalbasket mobile site and application.

How can I place a C-o-D (Cash on Delivery) order?

All items that are displayed with “Cash on Delivery Available” icon are categorized in the list of valid Cash on Delivery products.

For this, you add product (s) to your card and go ahead with checkout process. Now, when payment option appear choose “Pay By Cash on Delivery” as your payment mode.
 
Once it is verified as well as confirmed, your order will further be processed for shipment in the given time frame right after the date of confirmation. You are supposed to make Cash on Delivery  to our courier partner when he is at your doorstep to deliver the product.

You are required to pay the decided amount at the time of Cash-only delivery.

When can I expect to receive my order?

When you are done with the product selection, you click on the checkout to place the order. After this, you receive a SMS that your product will be delivered to you on the next day or a date mentioned. In case, we are not able to deliver product on the decided date or time duration (this may happen due to unpredicted situations). You will receive a notice for this and an appropriate action will be taken from our end for immediate effect.

How final delivery is made?

Can I change the delivery information (address where the product to be delivered)?

You can alter your delivery address information on our website. You just need to log into your respective account, click on “My Account” given in the right hand corner on top. Now, visit the “Update My Profile” section in order to alter your delivery address.

How much charges are taken for product delivery?

Delivery is free, if your order cost is above Rs. 300. For orders that are below 300, we charge Rs. 25 as a delivery fee.

Do you deliver products in my area?

It is intimated to you through an email or SMS at each stage once your order is processed, right from the time you have received confirmation till it is dispatched.

Will I get information if the delivery of my order gets delayed?

If it is delayed, our customer support team will intimate you and keep you updated regarding the delivery.

Is there any minimum order for products delivery?

Though, there is no minimum order limit, but if your delivery is below Rs. 300, then we charge nominal fee of Rs. 25.

Can I receive delivery on the same day?

Delivery on the same day means that you will get your ordered dals within two hours of the order has been made. You will be charged Rs. 25 as delivery fee.

Is same day delivery applicable to only a few pulses?

The same day delivery is applicable to our entire range of pulses.
